Founder of Big Bear Engineering. I build offline, on-device RAG and inference for field and industrial teams, running open-weight models like Apertus fully on iPhone. I believe inference is moving to the edge — cheaper, private, sovereign. For this hackathon I'm building Canis: reading an LLM's "disposition" from J-space on-device, so you can see when a model is unsure, refusing, or being evasive before it speaks. Interpretability you can hold in your hand.
