Physicist with a PhD from the University of Bern within the ATLAS experiment at CERN. I build ML models that find weak signals in huge, noisy datasets, with Python/C++ pipelines running on HPC and grid infrastructure. I designed the provisioning workflow of my department's HPC cluster, led the development of a detector-control microservice, built a RAG system with LLMs and ran a muon tomography study for the IAEA. I have experience with agentic AI workflows.
