Mechanical Engineer turned RL/AI researcher, EPFL & Harvard · Zurich

I'm Nicolas, a mechanical engineer who fell into AI through fluid dynamics. I researched turbulence modeling with RL at Harvard, worked on FCC-ee hardware at CERN, and built drone wings at EPFL. Now I'm an R&D engineer for the French Army Alpine Troops on extreme cold-weather ops. I'm drawn to problems where intelligence meets extreme physical constraints, and space is the ultimate version of that. At Hack Apertus, I want to build open LLMs for autonomous space systems.
